Board of Trustees
Â鶹ÊÓƵ, legally a 501(c)(3) organization, is governed by our Board of Trustees, whose membership is comprised of parents of current students, alumni parents, community members and TNS alumni. The board’s responsibilities focus on three critical areas:
- Developing broad institutional policies that guide the school’s operations.
- Accountability for the financial well-being of the school.
- Selection, evaluation and support for the Head of School, to whom the Board delegates full responsibility and authority to manage the school.
The Board is not involved in the day-to-day affairs of the school, and does not function as a board of appeals. Board members put aside personal issues to focus on our shared mission. The school’s policies and decisions also support this mission.
